STOPGAP 1600
Fibre-reinforced smoothing compound
STOPGAP 1600 is a fibre-reinforced, fast-drying smoothing compound for refurbishing new or existing internal floors. It delivers a stable, smooth base ready for the installation of new floorcoverings in both domestic and commercial spaces.

Substrates: Sand/cement screed, tile backer boards, concrete, plywood, granolithic, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles, as well as waterproof surface membranes.
Floor Coverings: Vinyl, ceramic, carpet & wood flooring.
Application thickness: 3mm – 40mm
Coverage:
- 3.70m2 at 3mm
- 0.70m2 at 15mm
- 0.40m2 at 25mm
- 0.25m2 at 40mm

Consumption: 1.81 kg/m2
Mixing:
- 3.4 litres of water per bag (up to 15mm)
- 3.2 litres of water per bag (from 15mm – 40mm)
Working Time: 15 – 20 Minutes
Time to foot traffic: From 3 hours
Ready to receive flooring: 12 – 72 hours
